ThreeFineWoods started out as a fun afternoon of sewing. What is easier to sew than straight seams, on a small blanket? (It had been a number of years since I made all of my kids' clothes--and I was hoping my machine--and my fingers--still worked!!)
And here we are, a year and a half later, with a large inventory of baby blankets ready for you, and for all those new babies coming along in my own life. Not to mention that I am, once again, hooked on fabric!!
The knitting was a creative diversion from the sewing, and once again, what knits up faster than tiny baby items?! Both of these creative outlets allow me to slow down, enjoy life, and remember what is truly important.
Paper crafting is a recent discovery. I love creating something beautiful--and useful--out of something plain.
And finally, photography is both a passion and a delight. For me, the challenge in photography is finding just the right angle and lighting to make the photos both notable and memorable. My work as a photographer is still a learning experience!
Unfortunately ThreeFineWoods doesn't quite pay all of the bills--yet--so I also hold down a daytime job. When I am not crafting, I work as an ordained minister in the United Church of Canada. Our family moved recently to the Canadian Shield area of central Ontario, and we are delighted by the beauty and tranquility of this area.
Please feel free to browse the shop as often as you wish. I will try to add new items periodically, and keep the inventory fresh.
